Secret financial support from Morocco to Ferhat Mehenni

A former activist in the movement for autonomy of Kabylia revealed that the president of the Movement for the autonomy of Kabylia (MAK), the singer Ferhat Mehenni receives substantial financial assistance from the Moroccan authorities.

Djouder Idir, who leads a movement for a few days of recovery in the movement of Ferhat Mehenni, said in an interview published on a website that Mehenni receives each month a quarter of a million Euros from Morocco, in order that he continues the demand for autonomy of Kabylia regions.

Djouder who served as finance minister in the fictional government of Mehenni, revealed in an audio recording, of which Ennahar holds a copy, that Ferhat Mehenni received large sums every month in Euros, and this, since the year 2010.

According Djouder, who was well informed about the finances of the movement, Morocco began to submit secret financial aid to Ferhat Mehenni in January 2010. He adds that some of this money was intended to finance the radio station « Kabylia FM », owned by Ferhat Mehenni himself.

The ministers of Mehenni have salaries between 2500 and 3500 Euros, or 30 to 50 million centimes, according to Djouder.

Djouder, who called Mehenni a « dictator », also speaks of the shadow government, where the meetings are only formalities as decisions are made elsewhere and its members who are just accessories and décor.

The dissent also revealed that Mehenni, president of a fictional government, asked him to collect taxes in the region of Kabylia. Djouder admits the failure of the autonomy of Kabylia that the Algerian and even international press refused to recognize.

The story of the assassination attempt in Tunisia against Mehenni, Djouder says, was a scenario woven by him to give legitimacy and credibility to the general opinion by accusing the Algerian authorities of being behind.
The movement for autonomy of Kabylia (MAK), according to informed sources, is faced with a movement of relief by many activists and leaders, who rose up against him after he interfered against their efforts to the obtain French nationality. Mehenni used his relations with French officials to prevent the granting of French citizenship to some of his activists he accused of loyalty to the Algerian regime.
